Camp Discovery Session 1 "Meredith's Eco-Bits Conservation Camp"

Our first week of summer camp at The Children's School was AMAZING! With this week's theme called "Meredith's Eco-Bits Conservation Camp," our campers visited the Gwinnett Environmental Heritage Center and the DeKalb Farmers Market. During the trips, our Adventurers explored the importance of conservation by making recycle bins, planted succulents, started compost in a cup and saw turtles! Our Explorers and Trailblazers made pinwheels to explore wind energy and used recycled water bottles to make bird feeders. Throughout the week, our older campers had a blast at the Piedmont Park pool, while little one enjoyed water play on campus. Next week, we look forward to see you for "Lance's What's Cooking Camp," as we visit the Piedmont Park Conservancy for a cooking class and tour of their garden on Tuesday, June 16. On Thursday, June 18, we also welcome Adoni Desserts to TCS as explore the world of pastries and desserts!
