Simple Machines with ECEP!

From the mind to the paper to the hands the innovative minds of Discovery present the Simple Machines showcase. Each grade in discovery learned about the fundamentals of simple machines that we use on a daily basis to make life easier. From that grew some ‘concept machines’ that we are all familiar with even an injured bear named Carl. Last Friday Discovery celebrated their inventions in a bustling gym showing off what they learned. Check out what types of conductive concept machines were made to make everyone’s life better!

Perhaps non-degradable marshmallow homes? Every Discovery class constructed homes made from popsicle sticks, marshmallows and some even created an entire model home complete with grass. This project got our students some literal hands on experience with 'raw materials' combined with creativity to design a home. Now let's see what they can come up with for inside a home...
